I adhere to open-standards tools whenever the destination media allows it. For typesetting, I prefer the TeX system and extensions (LaTeX, LuaLaTeX, BibTeX, etc), with Serif’s Affinity Publisher for more presentational work; my graphics stack includes Inkscape, PGF/TikZ, gnuplot, and Serif’s CMYK- and Pantone®-capable Affinity graphics tools for the more restrictive color-space.
